How DeepVedic Came About
DeepVedic was built by people who got tired of vague, copy-paste astrology. A Vedanta teacher, a psychologist, and an emotional intelligence specialist spent dozens of hours of research, comparison against other Vedic astrology systems, and consultations – ultimately crafting the expert prompts that guide our AI. We argued over phrasing. We tested hundreds of outputs. We threw away anything that felt generic, something that could apply to anyone.
We trained that system on classical Jyotish, Lal Kitab, and KP System scholarship, then layered it onto Swiss Ephemeris calculations built from NASA's JPL planetary data – the same positioning data used in space navigation. Because if we're going to do this, we're going to do it properly.
The result is a personalized Vedic astrology reading that sounds like a real astrologer who actually knows you. Specific. Honest. Actionable. Not a horoscope. Not a personality summary dressed up in Sanskrit. Something you can sit with and actually use.
Every report costs us real money to generate as it uses high reasoning AI model. We kept it that way on purpose. Cheap and fast was never the goal. We built DeepVedic for people who take their inner life seriously – and we take that responsibility the same way.
How DeepVedic Works
Your chart is calculated using the same mathematics a lifelong Vedic astrologer would apply – precise, classical, uncompromised. That data is then passed, through carefully engineered prompts to reasoning enabled LLM. It follows the same interpretive rules a trained human astrologer would use, with zero tolerance for guesswork or sycophancy. What comes out is a reading anchored in astrological principle and mathematics – not probability, not pattern-matching, not flattery.
The proprietary technology of DeepVedic is the prompt engineering. That's not something you can replicate with enthusiasm alone. It took a highly discerning approach, direct collaboration with practicing astrologers, and the kind of nuanced thinking that only comes from caring deeply about getting it right.
